Existential Psychotherapy
Existential psychotherapy is a form of talk therapy that draws from the existential tradition of European philosophy. Clients are encouraged to make meaning of the following existential key points of therapeutic discourse:
Dilemmas
The tension in the process of making a choice and not remaining in between.
Freedom
Recognizing our capacity to make choices.
Meaning of Life
Exploring purpose and significance.
Death
Acknowledging mortality and its impact on our choices.
Responsibility
Understanding our role in shaping our lives.
Jungian Sandplay Therapy
Developed by Dora M. Kalff, it provides adult clients a unique way to express experiences and internal states that are often difficult to put into words. It stimulates new areas of awareness through sensory engagement and symbolic resonance. Complex issues are resolved through the process of bridging unconscious resources to consciousness, as reflected by the symbolic representation of sandplay images.
Jungian Analysis
Developed by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung, it aims to integrate the conscious and unconscious aspects of the mind, helping individuals achieve balance and wholeness. This therapy is not only an in-depth analytical form of talking therapy; it may also involve other mediums such as painting, Sandplay, clay, dreamwork, and understanding an adult’s psychology type through the use of the GCI profile.
